I’d been listening to Ewan MacColl’s ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’ a lot, so I wasn’t surprised when the bunny rifled the CD collection to wave it under my nose at daft ‘o clock one morning. And thus, my first attempt at a song-fic was born. It may be an only child, you tell me. The bunny went back to sleep.

The song-fic bunny attacked from the glove box halfway down the motorway as I was listening to the wonderful Dolly Parton singing Just When I Needed You Most. It made me answer the question of who dealt with Boromir’s possessions after his death. And then it sobbed.
